Step 1 Fill out visa application form online

  • Prepare required documents for a visa application (Applies to all visas)
    • A. Physical Passport (more than 6 months valid) & Copy (personal information section with photo)
    • For Non-Norwegian or Non-Icelandic passport holders are required to submit a residence certificate (Utskrift av registrerte opplysninger, Bostedsattest, etc) or a copy of residence card (Non-EU citizens) to apply for a visa through us.

        • Korea Visa Portal website: www.visa.go.kr
        • The application should have barcode at the top-right corner of the first page. Hand-written application will not be accepted.
      • C. Required Documents for Each Visa Type

      • D. Visa Fee
          • 90 days or less Single-entry visa: 440 NOK
          • 91 days or longer Single-entry visa: 660 NOK
          • Double-entry visa usable up to 2 times: 770 NOK
          • Multiple-entry visa: 990 NOK
          Visa fees vary depending on the nationality.

  • Visit the Embassy and submit the signed visa application form and required documents
      • Please note that the Embassy does not provide print services.
      • Reservation is required before visiting the Embassy for any matter. For how to make a reservation, click here.

  • Pick up your visa and passport at the Embassy
      • Please be informed that it takes about 10 working days to issue a visa after submitting all physical documents to the Embassy.
      • All submitted documents with visa application will not be returned to the applicant except the passport.
      • We no longer issue sticker-type visa in your passport. For how to print out the granted visa, click here.
      As soon as you receive your visa, check to make sure all your personal information printed on the visa is correct. If any of the information on your visa does not match the information in your passport or is otherwise incorrect, please contact the Embassy immediately.

  • Citizens of the countries below must apply for a visa from their home country
      • China, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Peru, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Macedonia, Kosovo, Cuba, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Cameroon, Somalia, Gambia, Senegal
    However, a person who falls under the following criteria may apply for a visa through us.
    • Norwegian/Icelandic permanent resident
    • Who has lived in Norway/Iceland for more than 2 years
    • Spouse/Minor of a Norwegian/Icelandic citizen/permanent resident (Proof documents required)
